Dear 4K Families,
Attached is two pictures of what you should find in your child's folder. There is a cut and paste- please work with your child on using scissors the appropriate way and how to use a glue stick appropriately.The cut and paste is to review our letter of the week. (When your child is writing the Upper and Lower Case Aa- Please make sure they are starting at the top to write and not the bottom up- use the Letter Formation sheet I gave you at Parent Night as a reference)
We had a BLAST today tie-dying our shirts- please find your child's shirt in a zip-lock bag in their backpacks.It should sit over night in the bag prior to washing it.
DONT FORGET to wear them on Monday September 14th! :)

Also you will find a new "A" book. Please read this with your child, keeping in mind those early reading strategies- pointing to the title, using our pointer finger and using the pictures for "clues" to solve the words on the page.
